Factory reman processes control product quality
Quality underpins everything we do. Our remanufacturing operation is process driven and backed by a robust ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System. For our business, ISO certification is not typically required, but we do it because of the discipline it drives into maintaining clear processes and procedures for all stages of the remanufacturing process. Our QMS is mature and effective and we have maintained continuous certification since 2005.
Our quality inspectors regularly perform random spot audits to make sure everyone is correctly following the processes required by our QMS. There are in-process checks required for some products after machining to verify a batch can be moved to the next stage of the process. This could include CMM checks or residual contamination testing.
We do our assembly of all hydraulic and fuel components in our ISO 14644 class 8 clean room. This verifies there is no contamination present inside these precision components with extremely tight tolerances. Our clean room is a 3500 square foot 1 psi positive pressure controlled room with a full air exchange through 24 HEPA filters every 100 seconds. This room is also climate controlled, so our CMM and residual contamination testing equipment reside inside the clean room.
